Bigger. Faster. Stronger.

CrossFit-style workouts designed for the whole family. Build confidence, strength, and resilience with intentional training and real results in Provo, Utah.

A Gym for the Whole Family

Altitude Fitness brings functional fitness to High Altitude Tumbling's state-of-the-art Provo facility. Whether you're a teen athlete training for your sport or an adult seeking a supportive fitness community, our CrossFit-inspired workouts deliver measurable results. We combine strength training, conditioning, and mobility work in dynamic classes led by experienced coaches who care about your success.

Unlike typical gyms in Provo, Altitude Fitness creates an environment where families can train together, youth athletes can develop sport-specific skills, and adults can build functional strength that translates to everyday life. Every workout is scalable to your fitness level—from complete beginners to experienced athletes.

For Young Athletes

Youth Strength & Conditioning

Give your young athlete the competitive edge. Our youth strength and conditioning program develops the foundation for success in any sport while building confidence that extends beyond the gym.

What Youth Athletes Gain

Build Unshakeable Confidence

Watch your teen discover their strength—literally and mentally. Our coaches celebrate progress, set achievable goals, and create an encouraging environment where young athletes learn they're capable of more than they imagined.

Speed & Agility for Sports

Whether your child plays basketball, soccer, volleyball, or runs track, our functional fitness training improves the explosive power, quickness, and coordination that translates directly to better athletic performance.

Injury Prevention

We teach correct form and body mechanics from day one. Youth athletes learn how to move safely, develop balanced strength, and build resilience—reducing the risk of sports-related injuries.

Healthy Physical Development

Our age-appropriate strength training supports proper growth and development. We focus on bodyweight movements, functional exercises, and progressive training that builds a strong foundation for lifelong fitness.

For Adults

Adult Functional Fitness

This isn't about looking good for summer (though that's a nice bonus). Altitude Fitness helps Provo adults build the strength, endurance, and mobility to live life fully—whether that means keeping up with your kids, hiking Utah's mountains, or simply feeling confident and capable.

What Adults Experience

Functional Fitness That Matters

Every exercise serves a purpose. Our CrossFit-style workouts train movements you use in real life—lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling. Build strength that makes daily activities easier and adventures more enjoyable.

Strength & Mobility Combined

It's not just about getting stronger. We emphasize flexibility, joint health, and movement quality so you build a capable, resilient body that moves well and feels great.

Endurance & Resilience

Improve your cardiovascular fitness, mental toughness, and overall stamina. Our varied workouts challenge you in new ways, keeping training fresh while building true functional endurance.

Community & Support

Train alongside others who share your goals. Our Provo fitness community celebrates victories, encourages progress, and creates accountability that keeps you showing up and pushing forward.

What to Expect in Every Class

Each Altitude Fitness session is carefully structured to maximize results while minimizing injury risk.

Warm-Up & Mobility (10 minutes)

Dynamic stretching and movement preparation gets your body ready to perform. We focus on joint mobility, muscle activation, and injury prevention.

Skill Development (10-15 minutes)

Learn and practice proper technique for fundamental movements. Coaches provide individual feedback and scaling options to match your experience level.

Workout of the Day (20-25 minutes)

The main event—varied, challenging workouts that combine strength, conditioning, and functional movements. Every workout is scalable to your fitness level.

Cool Down & Stretch (5-10 minutes)

Controlled breathing, static stretching, and recovery techniques help your body adapt and reduce next-day soreness.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Athletes age 13 and under must be accompanied by a participating adult. This ensures proper supervision and creates family training opportunities.

Common Questions About Altitude Fitness

I've never done CrossFit or strength training. Can I still join?

Absolutely! Our coaches specialize in teaching beginners proper form and movement mechanics. Every workout is scalable to your current fitness level. Your free trial week gives you time to learn the basics in a supportive, non-intimidating environment. We'll meet you exactly where you are and help you progress safely.

What's the difference between Altitude Fitness and regular CrossFit gyms?

Altitude Fitness offers CrossFit-style functional fitness with a family-friendly approach. We're part of High Altitude Tumbling's facility, which means we share the same values-driven philosophy that's served Utah Valley families for 14+ years. Our coaches focus on proper technique, injury prevention, and creating an encouraging environment—not just pushing intensity.

Can my teenager train alone or do I need to participate too?

Athletes age 14+ can attend classes independently. However, athletes age 13 and under must be accompanied by a participating adult. This policy ensures proper supervision and creates great opportunities for families to train together and support each other's fitness goals.

What should I bring to my first class?

Wear comfortable athletic clothing and bring a water bottle. Athletic shoes required (no sandals or bare feet). We recommend bringing a small towel. If you have wrist wraps, knee sleeves, or other preferred gear, feel free to bring them—but they're not necessary. Just show up ready to move and learn.

Is this program good for athletes training for specific sports?

Definitely. Our functional fitness approach develops the strength, power, speed, and conditioning that transfers to virtually every sport. Many of our youth athletes use Altitude Fitness as off-season conditioning or year-round supplemental training to improve their athletic performance.
