Frequently Asked Questions

Is my 2-year-old too young for gymnastics?

Not at all! Our 2-3 year old program is specifically designed for toddlers. The 30-minute class length matches their attention span, and our patient instructors understand toddler behavior and development. We focus on basic motor skills in a playful, low-pressure environment.

Can I stay with my child during class?

For our 2-3 year old class, we encourage parents to stay visible in our viewing area during the first few weeks. For 3-5 year olds, we find children engage better when parents watch from the designated viewing area. Our comfortable seating and large windows let you watch everything!

What should my child wear to class?

Comfortable athletic clothing that allows free movement works perfectly. Many parents choose leggings/shorts and a fitted t-shirt. Bare feet are preferred for safety and grip. We recommend keeping hair tied back and removing jewelry before class.

What if my child is shy or doesn't want to participate?

This is completely normal! Our instructors are experienced with shy children and will gently encourage participation without forcing. Some kids need a few weeks to warm up, and that's perfectly okay. We focus on making it fun and letting them progress at their own pace.

How do I know which age group is right for my child?

We go by the child's current age. If your child just turned 3, you can choose either the 2-3 class (shorter, simpler) or the 3-5 class (longer, more advanced). Our staff can help you decide based on your child's experience and temperament. Call us at 801-319-8978 for personalized guidance.

What happens after Tiny Tumblers?

Around age 5-6, most children are ready to transition into our Recreational Gymnastics or Trampoline & Tumbling programs. We'll work with you to find the perfect next step for your child based on their interests and abilities.

Is the free trial class really free?
